Veterinary Cancer Referral Center Portland Oregon

Make an Appointment - Referring Veterinarians

As a referral-based practice, I thank you greatly for your support and care. I would like to foster and support a team approach to cancer care. Our clients and pets need all of our support to serve them best during this time of need. This cooperative care keeps you, the primary care veterinarian, as an integral part of the healing process. Your feedback and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dr. Freeman's goal at the VCRC is to offer to the veterinary community:

  • Access to the latest drugs and treatment protocols
  • Clinical trials and new drugs
  • Expertise in handling, storing, preparing and administration of dangerous drugs
  • Consultation to assist practitioners with difficult diagnoses
  • Help you build client trust that everything is being done to extend the length and quality of a pet's life
  • Map effective treatment strategies that have the best chance of controlling cancer

Dr. Freeman has a special interest in compassion fatigue. Many veterinarians and their staff face the challenge of balancing fatigue with their desire to care and help people and their pets. If you or your staff are interested, Dr. Freeman is willing to provide in-clinic workshops to address these concerns.

For referrals, please fill out the referring veterinarian form and fax to our office at 971-255-5978.
